Comstock Saloon

I've been performing every other Thursday on the mezzanine at Comstock Saloon with Adan Schwartz on keys. It's a funky little place! The cocktails are fantastic (Greg's a Sazerac devotee) and the manly gold rush ambience can't be beat. I'm looking forward to continuing these gigs!

In other news, the Cosmo Alleycats are almost 1! We're in the process of recording an album - more to come as soon as it's available.

The Cosmo Alleycats, 2010

The keyboardist & bassist from the Midnight Sessions invited me to sing with them at Le Colonial for a month while Kim Nalley took a break, and we never left! This is a super fun band, I love the guys and I love performing at Le Colonial. We've also performed at weddings, Yoshi's, the Fillmore Street Jazz Festival ... the list goes on. I'm so fortunate to be a part of this band - the guys are all pros! And it always feels like we are the ones getting the show - I love watching the swing dancers tear it up!

I've got links to our websites to the right of this page, but here they are again:

The Who's Tommy, Ray of Light Theatre, 2009

I am still amazed that I had the opportunity to play Mrs. Walker. Role of a lifetime! Not to mention the friendships forged with the stellar cast, crew & band, each of whom I love so very much. It was the highlight of my performing career to date. I loved every second of rehearsals & shows (& cast parties)!

I Believe My Own Eyes (duet with Cameron Weston)

San Francisco Symphony Chorus, 2004-2007

At the behest of my friend Chris Yorro, and convinced by their annual Choristmas Spectaculars, I joined the San Francisco Symphony Chorus as a soprano. What a fabulous opportunity! I sang everything from Carmina Burana, to Mahler, to The Damnation of Faust, to the score of the Lord of the Rings, to Gershwin with Mo Rocca! One of the professional recordings I worked on was Jerod Tate's Iholba (click on the link to listen).

Welcome!

I'm not famous enough to have a website (yet!), so I thought I'd start a blog where I could post about my singing exploits. Hope you enjoy!
