Demo Tracks

A few years ago I worked with a bunch of guys on a new project but it never got off the ground. We did record a few demo tracks though, so I thought I'd share them here. Enjoy!

"Pay Me Maybe"

The SF City Attorney's Office reached a statewide settlement w/ Money Mart & Loan Mart for $7.5 million in restitution to bilked customers. They tried reaching qualified claimants through traditional media but weren't having too much success, so they decided to create a "Call Me Maybe" parody video. Thanks to my friends at Blondie's Bar & Grill, I got the call to record the vocals for them. It was fun & silly, but I'm so grateful to have donated my time to such a good cause. I hope this video helps people get some of their money back!

We got lots of media coverage:

World Premiere of "Obsessed"

I've been doing lots of songwriting lately and I'm so fortunate that the Alleycats guys were so welcoming of the first tune I shared with them. We played it live for the first time last night at Blondie's Bar & No Grill in the Mission and captured it on video - enjoy!

Live at the Fillmore...

OMG, you guys! Mike, Steve & I played at The Fillmore's Poster Room Lounge last night. It was amazing. The crowd was super attentive and appreciative, we had fun, and then we got to see one of the best shows ever - Mayer Hawthorne & the County! All in all, an amazing night. We're excited to get back there again someday soon.

Our Album Is Here!

The Cosmo Alleycats' debut album, "The Late, Late Show," has finally arrived! The Bay Area's excited about it, too, as evidenced by this great article we got in the SF Bay Guardian: http://www.sfbg.com/noise/2011/12/20/localized-appreesh-cosmo-alleycats. And stay tuned for our upcoming radio interview!

Oh-so-much-fun at Blondie's Bar & No Grill

We are *loving* our gig at Blondie's every 2nd & 4th Thursday ... had a blast last night turnin' it on with guests Danny Brown and Lech Wierzynski. The bar is all decked out for the holidays with poinsettias and a giant Christmas tree - make sure to stop in for a nightcap after your holiday shopping!

We are also super excited to announce that our album, "The Late, Late Show," is thisclose to being released - just in time for all your stocking stuffing needs! We'll be having release parties at Le Colonial and Blondie's on the 21st and 22nd respectively. We'll be performing the album in its entirety, along with fun holiday songs, and there will be some great specials (anyone up for an "Alleycat cosmo"?!). Be sure to stay tuned for details by "liking" The Cosmo Alleycats on Facebook!
